I've been wanting to post pictures since we got home on Thursday, but I've been dealing with a sweet spinal headache that makes the computer screen painfully uninviting. It is starting to abate a bit, though, so I'm going to try to quickly get up some photos.
We are madly in love with our Violet. She hardly cried, even when she was first born. She has just been a quiet, cooing, sweet little dream baby, taking it all in stride.

We are grateful that the surgery went really smoothly (with the exception of the spinal which took forever and resulted in the aforementioned headache). Here I am undergoing the knife, and then so happy with my little gal.
Barrett's mom got to be in the operating room this time.

Henry and Laine named her Violet. I wasn't too worried about names this time around because there were a few Barrett and I both liked (Violet included), so when she was so small and feminine looking (even Laine was quite robust when she was born) we went with it. If it surprises you Henry liked Violet it is because you forgot it's a Lakers color.
Charlie has been very sweet with his little sister and is taking the transition like a champ so far.

Congratulations Autumn! I've been waiting for this post- I'm so sorry that you have that headache. My sis had it once and it seemed miserable. Your baby is adorable! I love all the hair and I love her name. Your family of 6!! Crazy!! So awesome!

Oh this made me cry! Newborn babies!!! The one of you and Charlie made me cry too--he'll be so stoked she's that close to him in about six months but man, you have TWO babies Autumn! Love the name. She's gorgeous. I can't wait for her to tell people, "Violet, like the Lakers." This is a stream of conscience comment. I'll call you and dither the rest.
