This fall Laine decided to try soccer. They play the kids three at a time, so she spent a lot of time on the sidelines, but she made up for it when she played with lots of smiling, dancing about, and occasionally running across the field at top speed wearing her aggressive face. The location of the ball was of little importance to her, but boy did she have fun.

And Henry tried on flag football. He loves all sports all the time, so it was fun for him to get a taste of something new. He ran the ball in for a 2 point conversion in one game, and, like Laine, spent a good amount of time dancing about with excitement in between plays. I'm not sure that football is really his thing, but he loved every minute nonetheless.
In more sports news, Charlie looks like he may be a lefty. Dad and Grandpa are already making plans for their all star pitcher.

Oh my gosh, in that picture of jubilant Henry, the kid just behind him is hilarious! They acould be on a commercial!
They are all darling. Forrest has a much stronger preference for his left than I've ever seen on a baby. Perhaps one day they'll be friends and share their weird scissors. I'm pleased to know star pitching is another sequela of left handedness.
