Halloween!

Before going trick-or-treating we finally carved the kids' pumpkins.

Laine wanted:
Eyes - heart
Eyebrows - pretty
Nose - square
Lips - pretty

Henry spent the majority of his time sorting the seeds into piles of ten. He wanted to know if our two small pumpkins would have as many seeds as his class's one large one. He didn't have time to get his answer before we had to go.

These pictures are from our church trunk-or-treat. I didn't take any on Halloween. Oops. I was lazy about costumes this year anyway and ordered them all online. Barrett and I didn't even join in the dressing up fun. At least not much (see below).

Charlie and his little sister.

Trick-or-treating went about how it did last year. Laine got cold after a half an hour, so I took the little kids home to pass out candy to all 8 trick-or-treaters who rang our doorbell. Eight. Do you know how long it's going to take me to eat the 4 large bags of candy we bought? Not that long.

Ha ha ha ha ha. I'm working tirelessly to eat our leftover candy as well. Also, I'm eating all the candy the kids were given trick-or-treating. How did you get Laine to be the Star Wars lady instead of Belle or Ariel or Jasmine or whoever?

I need to spend more time looking at blogs. This just made my night.
